Reflecting on Numbers 13, ten spies returned with fear, saying, "The giants are too big; we cannot conquer them." In contrast, Joshua 2 shows spies who believed in God's promises and acted on them. As we step into a new season in LFTD and our lives, our focus is to place complete TRUST in God. Joshua and his men crossed the Jordan to conquer Jericho, but our journey is just beginning.

As we prepare for a new season, ask yourself:

• Am I more of a person trusting God like the spies in Joshua 2 or do I doubt or carry more fear like those in Numbers 13?

  • Joshua 2:24 (NIV)

    "They said to Joshua, 'The LORD has surely given the whole land into our hands; all the people are melting in fear because of us.”

  • Numbers 13:31 (NIV):

    "But the men who had gone up with him said, 'We can't attack those people; they are stronger than we are."
    

• What bold, risky steps of faith am I going to practically take for Christ in the next 30 days?

• Am I seeing things from God’s perspective or my own?
  

• Do I deeply believe God for the impossible, with the faith mentioned in Hebrews 11:1 — "the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"?
